After years of inactivity, I have returned. This time, I'm cooking up a sequel to Meteor Malice for the GBJam. It will be a lot similar, but if the jam goes well, I polish it more and add some neat extras.
Keep your eyes on the skies.

On Track Again
Accurate menu systems and directions are being created at the moment for Jet Pack Jive. Idle animations are being created for the engine project. Jet Pack Jive will have its second demo released next week and hopefully the final version will be out soon after. I have a few ideas for the next game to be produced. It will either be a rail shooter psychic game similar to Cabal, a minefield puzzle game, a kamikaze-style side-scroller shooter, or a shooter based around causing massive collateral damage. More to come in the future.

New art assets for the two games are currently underway. The new demo will be ready by either next week or the week after if I am lucky.

...Grains! ...Grains!
Update time. Getting new sprites out for the big group project. I am also finishing up some more images for Jet Pack Jive. I am going to see if I can get that released by the 22nd or earlier. If not, I will just release the latest demo online and build up for a future release. Sound will be an issue, as this is the first solo game I made with mutiple live enemies going through their routines without player involvement.

Elfing around
I just sent in a new color set for one of the enemies to make them more consistent with the other sprites I sent off in the past. Next week I should have more news for both projects.

A Fine Day for Science
Here's a small preview image of the Direction Screen for Jet Pack Jive. I got some more artwork in the works for the final release, which should be ready by the middle of next month. After this, I may either take a break from making games or go all out. It depends on what happens in the next few weeks. Hope everyone has fun with the final release.

Brand New Year
Happy New Year. Now that the holidays are over, major progress will take place for the two games. I will try to have an image or two ready within the next two weeks. If everything goes to plan, I will have two games out and ready before spring.

Over Drawn
Update time. I finished some of the transitional sprites for the secret project, but I'm falling a bit behind due to being involved with work that actually pays. I should have more news next week for a special Christmas update.

Stumbling Around
Not much of an update this week. Things have been getting crazier as Christmas draws near. Hopefully I have a fully functional release of Jet Pack Jive in the next two weeks. I really want to end this year with at least one new game finished. I have some future game ideas for what to make after this, but 2010 has been a rough year. I may end up taking time off to work on another webcomic. More news to follow next week.

Getting Back Up
Update Time! I hit a small snag with the Top Secret Project, but I managed to get some of the Jet Pack Jive's intro done. I am going to have to work hard to get the game ready for release before the new year hits, but I am pretty close to having the project finished. I'll start on some tiny games in January, but I plan on taking part in group projects in the future.

Restarting Line
I have most of my information and tools back now. Progress on Jet Pack Jive will resume with news and progress posts every Saturday as usual. Development will be a little slow as I know have a second project in the works and a job. You can expect Jet Pack Jive to be available before the year ends.

Running and Jumping Around
I sent off another batch of sprites for a game demo for the LGCK Builder engine. And that is about as much as I can tell you about the project. Progress on Jet Pack Jive will resume around the end of the month, with an expected release sometime before the end of December.

Snow Progress
Getting more sprites for the team project finished. It is going to have more of a winter theme to it. Once more information becomes available, I will post related links to the project. Next week I will have more news as well as an update about Jet Pack Jive.

Getting Back on Track
I am almost to a point where I can resume work on Jet Pack Jive. However, I am working on 2D art for a sample game for a game engine. As I will be working on another person's project, the details will be sparse in respect for information control. More news will follow as this project continues.
